Each day our guests receive Good Community, Good Dignity and Good Nutrition.
The Warming House is believed to be the oldest student-run soup kitchen in the country. Begun in 1974 as a drop-in community center for elderly adults, the Warming House has grown to offer one meal a day, year round.
In September 2023 the Warming House served more than 2500 meals. This is more meals than have been served at the Warming House in any one month in the past five years.
Not only does the Warming House offer support to the Olean community struggling with food insecurity, but also offers St. Bonaventure students the opportunity to run a small not-for-profit and interact with a wide variety of people.
