We want to end Alzheimer's disease. Until then, we will provide care and support to those affected by all forms of dementia.
Help us #EndAlz. Alzheimer's disease is not normal aging. It's a progressive, degenerative, and, ultimately, fatal brain disease.
We advance research worldwide to find a cure or prevention but until that happens - and we will get there - our Western New York Chapter is here to provide FREE guidance, care, and support to ALL affected - people living with all forms of dementia, and their caregivers and loved ones. We provide free care consultations to families and individuals, education programs, early-stage programming, support groups, safety services, and a 24/7 Helpline at 1.800.272.3900. Click here to learn more about how our WNY chapter can help or call us at 716-626-0600.
The prevalence of this disease is astonishing. Across the United States, over 6 million Americans live with Alzheimer's and another 11 million people provide care for them, with our Black/African American and Hispanic communities disproportionately affected. View our 2023 Facts & Figures video here.
Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
